Probably easier to replace a 16 year old shower with a new one rather than just new parts. It’s good to get these things sorted at the beginning of your tenure, though. As for the shower, last time we got someone to replace an old shower we had to have the whole main fuse box changed as well as that was well out of date, so don't be surprised if you have to as well. Wishing you all the best with it all and hope you can finally enjoy the place when it's all fixed up.Sue G.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912631876823815037.post-30060222829353263622024-02-26T09:54:49.160+00:002024-02-26T09:54:49.160+00:00Aha! I have great difficulty finding specs that I like... I don't like the frame interfering with my periferals... that means big glasses and modern fashion means little frames.... I usually end up buying womens' frames as you all seem to have the largest... and then, when the glasses need renewing... the frames have gone out of fashion.
I have two new sets of frames for the current glasses which were sunglasses that I had lenses put into. They were only 60€ a pair, too.... frames in France for normal glasses start at around the 200€ mark with lenses on top... my last pair cost over 500€ for the lenses... and no such thing as Specsavers in France... and only opthalmologists are allowed test vision and to prescribe!
I need to book an appointment, because 'scrips are only valid for three years and it takeseight months to see an optho! Also, once the three years are up, the opticians are not allowed to sell you glasses!!
It is a nightmare....Le Pré de la Forgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02396822372095610004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912631876823815037.post-64542347226930630152024-02-20T15:31:10.745+00:002024-02-20T15:31:10.745+00:00Used your code, your welcome :)

On the carpets, the second one is a better colour for keeping clean looking, it's actually the same colour and type as we have throughout our house. But I'd advise you not to go for pure wool, it's lovely but it will attract clothes moths and they'll eat their way through it if there are any about. Unless it's got some sort of preservative on it of course. What's the office floor like? Would it be better just to get a large rug, it would save a lot of expense at this stage.
