I stayed at home today as throat no better than yesterday and have slept most of the day. I feel exhausted and still have a slight temperature. Can't see me going to work tomorrow either. Tonsillitis IS contagious I have just found out. I suffered alot with tonsillitis as a young child and had alot of time off school, so my mother tells me. But it hasn't really affected me in adult life very much, not until I started working for the NHS anyway!
