Its a coincidence that you linked this as I saw Chris Packham at Titchwell on Sunday, was a huge crowd of people and staff behind him heading down towards the marsh.
Replying to your comment in your Suffolk post. You win some, you lose some, luckily Glossy Ibis wasn't a new bird for me but would have loved to see it anyway. That YBW that we both saw was a lucky consolation as you said.
Thanks, really enjoyed the easterly winds. Found a Great White Egret at Titchwell on Thursday, successfully twitched Isabelline Shrike at Dunwich on Friday, connected with 2 Great Grey Shrikes (one Warham, one Waxham, 4 SEOs in off the sea (3 Titchwell, 1 Lowestoft) and another YBW at Holkham on Sunday . Was brill; just a pity that Robin didn't stick. Well done on some decent birds in the last few days, although it did sound frustrating at points.
