So who is going to the Rutland Bird Fair this year?
I will be going on the Friday and Saturday and hope to bump into some of you whilst there. It's the 25th Anniversary this year, so should be an extra special event. Now, wouldn't it be cool if they had a birders' disco on the Saturday night – that would be huge fun!!! I might suggest this to Tim Appleton for future events! My imagination is running wild – with LGRE as the DJ – how cool would that be!!!!? They definately need to do this, would spice up the bird fair no end! Just tweeted this to Tim A. I can't see why this still can't go ahead this year, maybe after the "Bird Fair Effect" Chat Show Party which finishes at 8.30pm? I will post Tim's response here.

I am attending the Birdfair on Friday 16th August and would love to "bump into you"! Follow your blog daily and am always envious of the number and variety of birds you see. Are you likely to be at any particular stand at a certain time on Friday?
