I am so glad this week is over – the heat has been unbearable. Lots of things to sort tomorrow, but hope to get some birding in too!

David Wilson caught a Silvery Gem E. virgo – at Blythburgh, Suffolk today. Only the second British record and a ‘first’ for Suffolk.
