I got home from work and fell asleep until 9.30pm! Going out birding after work and typing up hours and hours worth of bird news has taken its toll!!! I didn't see the point in going to Stiffkey again this evening, wasting fuel, time and with a very good chance of dipping on the Isabelline Shrike a second night running, so gave it a miss and had a night in.
As Phil Andrews on Birdforum said this evening, "Hopefully the mega is doing the decent thing and keeping low until the weekend" Let's hope so!!!

ONE DAY TO GO AND THEN NINE DAYS OFF!
