NORFOLK BIRD NEWS & MEGAS!

Norfolk Bird News via 'Rare Bird Alert'
Spoonbill, Curlew Sandpiper, Little Gulls x 7, Continental Black-tailed Godwits x 2 at Cley NWT.
Great Skua, Arctic Tern at Weybourne.
Arctic Skua, Arctic Terns x 5, Little Gull at Sheringham.
Garganey, Spoonbills x 7, Bittern, Red-crested Pochards x 7, Spotted Redshanks x 3 at Titchwell RSPB.
Spoonbills x 16 at Stiffkey Fen.

Suffolk Highlights
Swifts x 4,077 flew south past Languard Nature Reserve.

    how many!!?

    4000+ I will happily accept...
    but given the speed that those wonderful screamers fly...
    no one with a "clicky" counter would have the thumb movements to cope...
    and you couldn't get them all in one photo, so how would you know which was which on the joins!?

    Ours are still screeching around the market place... but if Northern ones are travelling South we soon lose them...
    shame, it means Summer is on the wane.
