Norfolk Bird News via 'Rare Bird Alert'
WHITE STORK escaped, yesterday opposite visitor centre at Welney WWT – a free flying bird from Shorelands Wildlife Gardens, Langmere (bears green ring code Z1213) ringed in Poland before being taken into care.
Black Brant, Eurasian White-fronted Goose, Short-eared Owls x 2 at Snettisham RSPB.
Hen Harrier at Holme NWT.
Black-necked Grebe at Tottenhill Gravel Pits.
Lapland Buntings x 6 at Blakeney Freshmarsh.
Water Pipits x 4 at Titchwell RSPB.
Iceland Gull imm. reported, east of fishing boats at Wells Quay.
Caspian Gull flew west past beach, Pale-bellied Brent Geese x 4, Dark-bellied Brent Geese x 1200 east of Beach Road at Cley NWT.
EAGLE OWL Male (esc) reported, singing at 7pm in North Street, Burnham Market.
