    Peter was a great naturalist and educator. Our visits to Holme were magical and will stay in our memories for ever. His enthusiasm was boundless, and he always treated our arrival as though it was his pleasure. Your father will be missed, and our thoughts are with you and your family. Richard Porritt & family.
