TOUR WITH ORIOLE BIRDING
DEPARTURE!
Ashley Saunders, along with Nick, John and Ian picked me up at 2.45pm to leave for our journey to Carlisle, where we stayed in a Premier Inn overnight. Fabulous meal in the evening and it was lovely getting to know everyone – looks like we are going to have some good banter! I was so exhausted from packing overnight and could'n't keep awake any longer, so I left the men to talk football and returned to my room. Started to type the blog, but even too tired to do that. Tomorrow we are picking up another John and his wife Evelyn in Dundee, before we fit some birding in and then head to Abderdeen for the ferry in the evening.
