LOCKDOWN DAY 40 – COVID-19

I must be getting used to the antibiotics, as I didn't feel faint today at all thank goodness. I had a very lazy recovery day. Cleaned the bird ponds out and topped all the feeders up. Phoned Moulham and Horn at Heacham and was very pleased to find out they do deliveries, so my bird food supplies are being delivered on Monday! So frustrating when I would normally drive there, but its not a necessary journey is it?! Sat on the sofa watching films in the afternoon. Fed up with being on my own at weekends and being stuck inland, really fed up. I'm not exactly loving Monday to Friday either – the PPE is SO hot! Goodness knows how we will all cope with wearing this, when it gets seriously hot!!!

Went for a short walk late evening, which didn't produce much – saw a Great Spotted Woodpecker in the big willow by the cycle path, heard a Reed Warbler, no hirundines seen at all. Lots of Muntjac deers in the field, but no sign of the recent Short-eared Owl or Barn Owl.
