HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JOHN FURSE!

Today was not the best of days, my entire RSPB bird feeding pole bent and broke, bringing all my bird feeders crashing to the ground – I didn't witness it, probably a good job I didn't. Very strong south east winds, thunderstorm and lashing rain. I know its Shetland, but this feeder pole has only been up since January! It might have been the increased number of feeders I added though! Climbed onto my step ladder to hang my bird feeders anywhere I could from the tree, so at least my birds can continue feeding, even though I can't see most of them from my window.

Alex, the builder was at my house today (whilst I was out) and has started the room insulation! Went to the tip again and dumped my old storage heater and then visited Jewsons and GTS to plan for the next jobs to get done in the house! Back to work tomorrow.
