  1. Merry Christmas Penny and to your family. We lost Dad bank holiday Monday and although we never go mad at Christmas it was very quiet this year but ok. Mum and I went to Holkham bay for the 3rd time hoping to see the shorelarks and we did. Then went to Brancaster Staithe for our soup and Thornham for the twite. Managed to get a great picture of the twite drinking. A good days birding in the end. Back to work for me today.

    1. My sincere condolences to you Julie on the loss of your father. Nature can be very therapeutic at sad and difficult times in our lives. Glad you saw the Shorelarks, sounds like you had a nice day with birds and your mum – Best Wishes Penny
