NORFOLK BIRD NEWS & MEGAS!

Norfolk Bird News via 'Rare Bird Alert'
Red-necked Grebe, Great Northern Diver, Long-tailed Ducks x 50, Scaup x 5, Velvet Scoters x 11, Snow Buntings x 21, Water Pipits x 2, Hen Harrier, Lapland Buntings x 6 flew west at Titchwell RSPB.
Cattle Egret in cattle field, north of Ted Ellis NR entrance track at Surlingham.
Great White Egret flew south over Colney Gravel Pits.
Snow Buntings x 34 on beach at Winterton.
Black-throated Diver, Long-tailed Ducks x 4 at Holme.
Waxwings x 20 on Jerningham Road, Costessey.
Hawfinch at Santon Warren.
Scaup, Hen Harriers x 4 at Snettisham RSPB.
Scaup x 4 at Tottenhill Gravel Pits.

MEGA NEWS
MEGA! DUSKY THRUSH in orchard at Beeley, 5mls NNW of Matlock, Derbyshire.
FIRST FOR BRITAIN! MASKED WAGTAIL (Motacilla alba personata) – again at Croft Villas, 2.5mls NNW of Haverfordwest at Camrose, Pembrokeshire.
MEGA! KILLDEER yesterday again, mainland at Sandwick, Shetland.
