LGRE

Thread started on Birdforum discussing the UK400 Club which Lee may now have to close down because of official complaints. Some are not happy with their lists apparently. http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?t=204021 Be warned this thread goes on forever! I have chosen not to add any comments to this thread, as its got out of hand. There are some very nasty, unnecessary comments being made towards Lee by a few individuals. I don't quite understand why people constantly harrass him - give him a break for goodness sake! Is he that bad that he deserves all this crap!!! No, I think not. Its all pretty pathetic really. In fact its quite unbelievable that grown-ups are arguing about a list that's not up-to-date/correct. Lee has devoted his life to birds and I really do not understand why all this anger is vented towards him - jealousy maybe - I don't know. All this anger is not doing any of them any good. Stress and anger can and does cause serious illnesses! E.g - I see people brought on to my ward every week with a "Stroke" which has been triggered by stress - and don't think for one minute it only affects 'old' people - we have had teenagers, people in their twenties, thirties, forties and so on! Life is too short to be angry about such a trivial thing - life could be even shorter than you had planned! Think about that! You need to live for today, for tomorrow may never come! When I sit and think about my life, it only seems like yesterday when I was 18 and at art college and now I am 46!!!!! Where has the time gone! It seriously doesn't seem that long ago! Life is a flash and every day should be cherished.

We should care for each other,
not battle with one another.

As Ornithologists, Birders, Birdwatchers, Twitchers and Naturalists etc, we should be united, enjoying birds and working to protect them and their habitats.

Anyway here is Lee's latest post on his site:
