Well, Norfolk has certainly has some top draw birds over the last couple of days – with a First for Norfolk GREAT KNOT and a cracking Long-tailed Skua sitting on the shoreline at Winterton and today we have a Black-winged Pratincole at Cley NWT and the Great Knot remains for a second day. To add to that, we also have a Scarce Tortoiseshell Butterfly which is potentially a first for the UK!!!
I have sadly seen none of this action at all. I couldn't go birding this evening either. But hopefully I can escape after work tomorrow! Horrible word 'work' when there are major birds to see!
