Jacquie and Dave Bridges and their friend Graham (as last year) popped in to see me this morning for tea and cakes! My first guests at my new dining table! Lovely to see them all again. Jacquie has new and very colourful new glasses – love them! Its Jacquie's birthday tomorrow. I've been deep cleaning the house since all my DIY work, it needed to be done. Yes, I know its October, but its made me feel so much better. Now I can take birding dead seriously in my two weeks off! We had to sit in the dining room as still waiting for the sofa and armchair to arrive.

This evening I went to see the Siberian Thrush again. There were only a handful of birders when I arrived and the Siberian Thrush was not showing. After a while I was the only one left. The Siberian Thrush decided to appear again just for me! One picture for now, more late this evening.
