I was at work today and now off for next three days (as is normal). A weekend of heavy rain and strong winds! If its too bad to go birding, I think I will start to plan and put up all my paintings and artworks, which is the last job to do in the house. Sofas etc are all due very soon, which I'm very pleased about, as its getting very boring trying to get comfortable on cushions on the floor. My local builder must be extremely busy as I can't even get hold of him to find out if he can put my new door up for the dining room – I might have to find someone else. The longer the door is not in place, means the radiator in that room is struggling to heat the room efficiently and is currently trying to heat up the corridor and kitchen too! The dining room will be much warmer when the door is in place and the electric bill will be cheaper. Expensive electric bill this month, but still cheaper than this last time last year with the old type RTS metre, which was obviously faulty and I'm still waiting for a refund from Octopus from this, long story!
