MAINLAND
Edited and added all Fair Isle photos to posts which took far longer than expected. Strimmed the grass which I had not cut since last year, so it was like a mini field! Then did two cuts with my hand lawn mower on high and then medium setting. Cleaned all the bird baths out and changed and topped up the feeders. Need to get some food shopping in and get out birding! I'm on annual leave next week! 😁

Golden Oriole male at Leawart then flew north, Norwick, Unst.
Quail on Isle of Foula.
A first for Britain and Ireland turned up today!
