it has all gone wierd...
a male Monty coasted in front of the car today...
on fields where we see a pair each year...
but camera was in bag on back seat...
no camera = no pix...
and it knew it...
12 ft away...
tilted to show the back...
and then the underside....
then blew a raspberry!
BUT IT SHOULD NOT BE HERE!!
Not now... it should have gone south weeks ago!
We've only seen Hens at this time of the year...
Pauline logged it...
and it is the latest one has been seen....
the only other possibility is that it is from much further North... but possibly grew up here and visits each year because it knows the hunting is good....
