Sperm Whale Stranded at Hunstanton!

Four Sperm Whales seen at Hunstanton today – very sadly one is still stranded on rocks and therefore won't survive – nature is cruel.

  1. So sad about the sperm whale...
as you say, nature is cruel.
But as a species, we need to ask...
"Why were they in such shallow waters in the first place?".... were they following squid?.... were they poisoned?.... was it undersea noise?
I read today that there is going to be an investigation... presumably biological... which might answer a couple of the above....?
