"A large bird that is native to South America has been on the loose in Terrington St Clement, police say.
Officers received calls at around 11:00 to reports of a
rhea, described as being similar in size to an ostrich, emerging from a
children's playing field on the Station Road junction.
Drivers later reported it being on the A17. Police say despite
their investigations, they've not found the bird and can't be sure if it
has returned to its home or been recaptured by its owner."
