Since the weekend is going to be blowing NORTH EAST winds continuously and on Monday (not happy about the Monday bit, as back at work)!!! In fact, looking at the weather charts again, it continues to the end of Tuesday! Oh dear!
It's going to be leaping with RARES and we won't know which way to turn! Well, that's what I'm hoping for anyway! For me and everyone else. No suppressing please – don't want to hear about leggy warblers or such like a few days later – ring it out!
I will be out dawn until dusk as a last big effort before returning to work. See you all at the mega or two or maybe three or........ if we're lucky!
If everyone works the coast, maybe we'll hit the big time, sitting indoors watching the pager, won't get the results you desire! Get out there and find something incredible!
I hear that the 2015 Norfolk Bird & Mammal Report has been published and is available now to buy from the usual places eg Titchwell RSPB, Cley Visitor Centre NWT and here. Waiting for my complimentary copy to drop on the mat – don't know which of my pictures are in yet, so it will be a surprise! Rob Holmes has the front cover with his stunning Bluethroat at Blakeney Point – looking forward to seeing it. http://andystoddart.weebly.com/2015.html
Happy Birding!
