I bet the people that walked across (or sailed across) to Scolt Head Island to light their barbecue were not even aware that this is a national nature reserve!! Maybe they did? Maybe they didn't care? AND STILL some of the supermarkets are selling them!!!
How could anyone think of lighting a barbeque on Scolt Head Island and then to leave it still burning?! Of all the places to do this! No brains, utterly selfish. Someone must have seen the culprits on the island surely? Should be fined at the very least! More wildlife lost to carelessness.
