I spent a long time in the rain, waiting for the Red-breasted Flycatcher to appear in the willows by Helendale House. Very elusive and only fleeting views. After everyone left and I was the last one standing, I had more frequent views and managed to get some half decent record shots. From my memory this is the first male RBF I have ever seen!

hoping that there was a female and he's gone quiet because he's too busy feeding brood....
that at least means he's going to be everywhere... so I'm keeping the binos trained on LBJs
