Shocking pictures of the destroyed observatory have appeared on the news sites today. I can't even begin to imagine what the Parnaby family and islanders are going through right now. To cope with this tragedy with such a small number of people on the island, must be very difficult indeed and they must be feeling so traumatised.
To David, Susannah, Grace and Freyja and all islanders – you must all be in a serious state of shock, stay strong and know that thousands of people share your sorrow at this very difficult time.
