Needed my fan on again at work today, but cool this evening. I'm hoping that the forthcoming sunny days will dry out a few of my bedding plants that are still water logged. My RTS meter is being swopped over for a Smart Metre next Friday, let's hope it will be working afterwards! I've emailed Octopus twice recently to ask if my tariff will be the same, but no response at all yet.
I have had pins and needles and numbness issues in both my hands, but particularly my left one for quite a few months now, a GP at the Lerwick surgery when I was registered there, diagnosed it as carpal tunnel syndrome – its got much worse, so will try and book in with Scalloway Health Centre on my day off on Friday to see if they think the same and what can be done if anything. When I worked in the print trade (many years ago), we were taught to use the 'mouse' in our left hand, so even though I'm right handed, I always use the mouse in my left hand, so I guess that's why the pins and needles is worse in that hand – using the PC at work on/off all day long, my iMac in the evening and Photoshop work has presumably made the situation worse, oh well!
