The alarm went off at 5am and I was out of the door birding at 5.45am. It was a little gloomy first but then the morning developed into full blue skies and sunshine. However the afternoon was fairly heavy rain and I ended up completely soaked. Finished birding at 6.30pm.
I am too tired to write to be honest or go through pictures. Main highlights of the day were a stonking Rustic Bunting and a female Common Rosefinch.
