The expected heavy snow has not started yet in King's Lynn, or Ely or Cley this evening by 10.45pm, but it doesn't look good for the morning: BBC WEATHER
FRIDAY
"Snow spreading east, heaviest across northern counties, turning to sleet or rain in the south and more generally to rain later, eventually clearing, leaving icy conditions by morning. Winds easing later with mist forming." Looks a great forecast for driving around in!
SATURDAY
"Brightening up after a grey start, then dry with some sunny spells for most. Still on the cold side, although higher temperatures than recently, giving a slow thaw of snow." Brighter day!
OUTLOOK FOR SUNDAY TO TUESDAY
"Much milder with a rapid snow
thaw. Often very wet and very windy, especially overnight into Sunday
and later Monday through early Tuesday. Brighter spells with squally
showers in between." Warm, windy day with flooding!
