I saw that yesterday morning...
but any video on this 12yr old Dell laptop is a no-no...
so having this post available means I can watch in on my real computer...
I loved the expressions on the birds mugs...
especially the one they chose for the "still"...
looking craftily round the window frame...
just needed some horn-rimmed, half-frame specs to complete the look!
The LPO have recently extended their "Refuges" scheme to include balconies...
wouldn't these have been wonderful to include...
I do, however, draw the line at Ring-necked Parakeets...
we used to get them at the allotments in Leeds...
one of them had a chunk out of one of our apples...
needless to say the best!!
Couldn't see the top until it was picked...
and there it was...
a large, parrot-bill-shaped gouge out of the upper surface...
have a good w/e's birding...
we are off to an LPO count at Le Louroux...
a very large lake between us and Tours...
famous for its overwinterers.
