MAINLAND

Great Shearwater flew past Sumburgh Head.

American Black Tern still at Tingwall Loch.

Yellow-browed Warbler in thistles opposite burn at Geosetter.

Common Rosefinch at Hillwell.

Curlew Sandpiper at Pool of Virkie.

Nutcracker (possible) reported in garden then flew towards Henderson's Garage  + no further sign at Scousburgh.

 

ISLANDS

Buff-breasted Sandpiper on Isle of Foula.

Common Rosefinches x 2 at Valyie, Norwick, Unst.

I needed a day of rest and doing nothing much at all and that's exactly what I did. Siskin on my bird feeders along with House Sparrows and Starlings. No Nutcracker in my garden yet! See pictures I have added to yesterday's post.
