23.41: A freak wave hits a cruise ship in the English Channel, killing one passenger and injuring others. The
wave struck the UK-based MS Marco Polo as it headed for its home port of
Tilbury in Essex.
We have had the wettest January in England and Wales since 1766 - 5 months rain in 19 days!
