I was very pleased to find that the person changing the metre was someone from a local firm here. It took about an hour and a half to do and I was told that the commissioning was successful so I don't have to read the metre anymore. I will still be taking a note of the readings monthly, just in case! I've re-arranged the carpet fitting date to the following week on Friday 1st August, as I realised that I'm not going to be ready on time.
Mixed day of weather here, but cooler thank goodness. The Shetland ponies adjacent to my garden do enjoy a piece of organic apple – I cut one up into four pieces, I was very popular with four of them, the others didn't get there quick enough! 🍎🐴 The sheep were not the slightest bit interested 🐑. I feel so lucky having ponies and sheep next to my garden, such a lovely scene. 😊

Please don’t feed the ponies or sheep, Penny, how ever safe you feel it to be, unless you have the owner’s express permission. As a country born person, surely you would know this?
ReplyDeleteDear Anonymous, firstly I thought I had stopped all anonymous comments coming through to my emails, but yours did come through. I have published it as yes you are totally right. I suppose I thought an organic apple would be more than ok for a Shetland pony, but completely take on board what you are saying, I shouldn't be feeding them anything at all.
