Barred Warbler, Siberian Chiffchaff at Dalsetter, Boddam.
Steppe Grey Shrike (form pallidirostris) west of The Spiggie Hotel, Scousburgh.
Siberian Chiffchaff at Geosetter.Oriental Turtle Dove and Turtle Dove at east end of barley field, south of Lud Barns at Loch of Hillwell.
Northern Bullfinch male at Brae.
ISLANDS
American Golden Plover at Aithbank, Fetlar.
Yellow-browed Warbler, Siberian Chiffchaff at Burravoe, Yell.
Taken through window in the rain!
The female Blackcap is still feeding with my increasingly large flock of House Sparrows, also the usual Starlings and 5 Collared Doves today – lots of soggy birds in the torrential rain. Had a catch up on the phone with both my sisters and also Hilary this evening, which was nice as not spoken with her for several weeks.
