Did the food shopping in the midst of Tesco having a power cut – lots of basic goods I needed were not available, so went to the Co-op to complete my weekly shop. Bolts 24 hour garage pay machines/pumps not working, so no petrol there, had to go to Leasks at Gremista. I was going birding this afternoon, but felt strangely very tired and had to go to bed for a couple of hours. Felt drugged up for the rest of the day, that's the only way to describe how I felt.
It was a financial mistake filling my bird feeders yesterday as loads of juvenile House Sparrows and juvenile Starlings descended into my front garden and all begged to be fed by parents – it was like Piccadilly Circus all day! Queueing up to be fed, splashing in the bird baths, snoozing on branches – all fun to watch! Bird feeders empty! 😂
