Norfolk Bird News, hot, hot, hot!

8 BEE-EATERS (Wow!!!) at NE of Swanton Novers near Briningham in a tree and on wires at 1.40pm then flew off!

I had to look twice when I read 'Bee-eater' on the pager as I left work and then had to look again when I read 8 Bee-eaters!!!!!! I would love to find one, never mind eight! What a wonderful find for someone – my favourite bird. Looks like things are starting to hot up now, all in preparation for my two week holiday which starts this Saturday. I have not booked any Sunday shifts either, having a complete break from work, can't wait.

Another evening of photography commitments, otherwise I would be out birding, there must be some good birds out there to find!

Eddie just text to say he had upto 10 Wood Sandpipers at Cley this evening!
