This evening, Lucy, Vivien and I had a little service for our mother and buried her ashes in the same 'special place' with father. We
mixed in some Buddleia flowers, Lavender, Globe Thistle, Rose Hips, Valerian and Sea-Buckthorn – to represent
peace and love from us all. We spent a good while creating the finishing touches to our little shrine.
It was a beautiful evening and we sat down, where our dearest parents now rest and listened to birds singing as we watched the sunset. It was time to go home, wherever home is now. Home is where the heart is they say, the hearts to our home have been taken – there is nothing left but memories, that will fade as each day passes, until we too will be nothing but a memory.
