Another stunning day here, but continued north winds, so no influx of migrants at the moment, so a good time to do some essential gardening. Lambs and Shetland ponies on Gallow Hill next to my house, such a beautiful scene. Had a lovely catch up with Gwen whilst I was busy gardening today. Went to Plantiecrub and bought my Summer bedding plants: Livingstone Daisies, Lobelia (bush and trailing), Snap Dragons etc along with a Lavatera, another hebe, small conifer etc. Had a massive re-vamp in the front garden and now all finished. Tomorrow I need to weed and sort the area by the back door and then pot up plants on the raised patio and then all the gardening will be finished for the Summer. Several Red Admirals seen in my garden this afternoon. Garden seat to paint tomorrow.
