After several phone calls and detective work, I discovered the number was a generic switchboard number for NHS Grampian (Aberdeen) and there is no way of knowing which team or department phoned me I was told (long story), but thankfully it was not from the team I thought it was from. The same number did not attempt to call me again today. My only conclusion is that they called a wrong number and unfortunately it happened to be my number, which caused a whole load of stress and worry. Huge thanks for assistance and very kind support from 'E' this morning, you know who you are xx.
