MAINLAND
Sooty Shearwater 2/3ml west of Woodwick.
Ring-necked Duck ecl. drk still at Loch of Clickimin, Lerwick.
Quail at Brake, Hillwell.
ISLANDS
Woochat Shrike juv. still at Norwick, Unst.
No further sign of the Blue-cheeked Bee-eater anywhere so far!!!
Had a brilliant night's sleep thank goodness. Quite warm for Shetland yesterday and today – 18 degrees. Pouring with rain here this evening which I was very pleased about as the plants needed watering desperately and saved me a job. Its taking AGES to go through around 2,000 SLR photos from North Ronaldsay!
