The Blue-cheeked Bee-eater remains on North Ronaldsay for a tenth day!

Saw the Semi-palmated Sandpiper today. Brief views of the BLUE-CHEEKED BEE EATER in the willows again at 12pm and after this it went missing for several hours and was eventually found back in Holland House garden (which is by appt only with obs staff) which I couldn’t go to as was being picked up to go to airport. So glad the birder from Bristol got to see it after he arrived off the boat. I really believed it had gone. Can’t believe it’s still here!

Waiting for 11.45 departure from Kirkwall.

Full trip report and pictures when I return home to Shetland.
