Rare Bird Alert News
No rare bird news from Shetland either yesterday or today.
However, there have been sightings of Orca yesterday in Scalloway and Wester Quarff and today off Burrastow, Walls.
Rainy weather and strong winds here. Sleet showers forecast overnight and then rain again tomorrow. Light snow forecast for Friday. The forecast does not predict a white Christmas here though.
Ferry disruption may mean some islanders will be fighting over the Christmas sprouts in Tescos, amongst other food items!
