Norfolk Bird News via 'Rare Bird Alert'
Pectoral Sandpiper juv. on Freshmarsh, Spoonbills x 2, Curlew Sandpiper, Little Stint at Titchwell RSPB.
Yellow-browed Warbler at Beeston Common.
Lapland Bunting flew east, Spoonbills x 17 on saltmarsh at Warham Greens.
Black-necked Grebes x 2 still at southern end of southern pit, Snettisham RSPB.
Glossy Ibis from Tower Hide at Strumpshaw Fen RSPB.
Richard's Pipits x 2 on grazing marsh south of Broadwater, Lapland Bunting flew over early morning, Spotted Redshank on marsh, Whinchats x 10 along Thornham Bank at Holme.
Great White Egret, Yellow-browed Warbler (just before first viewpoint) at Holkham Freshmarsh.
Wryneck in bushes by toilet block along clifftop at Scratby.
Redstart, Whinchats x 3 at Warham Greens.
Great White Egrets x 2, one in decoy wood, one on grazing marsh at Burnham Overy Staithe.
Whinchats x 7 at Kelling Quags.
Redstart at Gramborough Hill, Salthouse.
Whinchats x 3 at Snettisham Coastal Park.
Yellow-browed Warbler on the north side of The Dell at Wells Woods.

MEGA! SOLITARY SANDPIPER reported on 8th September at Marston Sewage Works, Grantham, Lincolnshire.
MEGA! ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK still, in garden at Garinish Point, County Cork, Ireland.
MEGA! DALMATIAN PELICAN west of Barnstaple, on Taw Estuary on flood at Horsey Island, Devon.

MEGA! HUDSONIAN WHIMBREL, 4 miles east of Penzance, 500yds west of Perranuthnoe at Boat Cove, Cornwall.
MEGA! WESTERN PURPLE SWAMPHEN again, 8 miles north of Scunthorpe at Alkborough Flats Nature Reserve, Lincolnshire.
MEGA! FORSTER'S TERN still at Soldier's Point, east of Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland.
