Citrine Wagtail still at Burn of Quendale at south end of farm buildings at Quendale Mill.

Buff-breasted Sandpiper still on pool east of lighthouse, Lapland Buntings x 2 south of lighthouse, Glossy Ibis again at Eshaness.

Quail singing at Isbister, Yellow-browed Warbler in irises at Sand Voe, north of North Roe.

After work I went to have a quick search of Helendale Terrace in Lerwick for any migrants – as I parked up at Clickimin Loch, visiting birders Robert & Sue had re-found the Kingfisher sitting distantly on a rock which was lovely to see and thank you, but a bit too far away for photography. Had a lovely chat with some visiting birders and then headed to Scalloway. Diverted to Tingwall to check out the Siberian Thrush garden and surrounding trees, nothing found apart from a couple of Collared Doves and 1 Blackbird.

Returned home to find most of my bird feeders were empty – busy birds whilst I have been at work! Cooked tea and felt unusually exhausted and too tired to do any more door waxing which I need to finish. South east winds from 3am tomorrow along with sunny intervals and no rain all day! The heavy rain forecast on Wednesday has been updated to light rain showers along with 55mph east winds. It could be very exciting for everyone over the next few days.
