The highlight today was watching a pod of 6 Orcas spy hopping only 3 miles from my home, just north of Burra Bridge. Lots of people stopped on the side of the road to enjoy the spectacle, truly wonderful to watch. Raining most of the day and strong east winds again. A few Redwings at the large copse at Trondra, a few Blackbirds in the Public Garden close to the Scalloway shop and 100+ House Sparrows and several Starlings feeding at my bird feeders.
