Beautiful sunny day here with exceptional light in the afternoon, but still very, very windy. Heard a Brambling calling and then seen, on the seaward side of the Burn of Sound in Lerwick. Walked all around the Seafield Park area and found nothing of note, only a couple of Blackbirds and a gorgeous tabby cat I made best friends with 😊 Back in Scalloway, in an area I have only just discovered this evening, I found a beautiful Song Thrush feeding on a long track leading to a property, behind the GP Surgery and several Redwings feeding in a large fenced field. Combination of jobs and birding today and supporting Lucy over the telephone alot.
