Ring-necked Duck at Dam Loch, north of Uyeasound, Unst.
44mph+ winds and heavy rain all day long. I'm still amazed how sound proof my house is – it has to be very serious winds and extreme rain to hear any weather inside these very thick walls. On the negative side, its a chilly house with most of it not being insulated, but hopefully will get all my new heating sorted out before it gets seriously cold. No need to water any plants this evening! New under desk draw systems arrived from Amazon, no enthusiasm to do any flat packing tonight.
