The Blue-cheeked Bee-eater remains on North Ronaldsay for an eighth day!
More stupendous views of the BLUE-CHEEKED BEE EATER on North Ronaldsay today but much more mobile. Saw four times in all and it ended the day in a different location (not far away) in some willows, found by Craig from the obs and thoroughly enjoyed by two birders from Kent who arrived to see it on the last plane today and had a good old chin wag later in the evening at dinner. Saw a flava/Blue headed Wagtail today, Short-eared Owl etc. Gorgeous sunny day until early evening when the heavens opened!
